Project Overview

The mill strike of 1982 brought immense hardship to mill workers in Mumbai. To support them, the Maharashtra government initiated the ‘GIRNI KAMGAR GHARKUL YOJANA’ vide Government Resolution no. GiKaGh-2023/CR 128/ GND-2, dated 15th March 2024, in partnership with private developers to provide subsidized housing within the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR).

Karmyogi AVP Realty LLP is one of the private developers entrusted with implementing this scheme. 31,005 homes will be developed by Karmayogi, a joint venture between Vasant Vihar Realty Pvt Ltd and Anukarati Homes Pvt Ltd.

Vasant Vihar Realty Pvt. Ltd.  is a construction company executing various infrastructure projects with specialization in affordable mass housing project. We build and design entire townships. We do planning and design of building with supporting infrastructure work.

The first project that VVRPL planned and executed was Ray Nagar Housing Project at Kumbhari. Ray Nagar Project was a mass housing project with 30,000 EWS beneficiaries under PMAY(U) Verticle-3 (AHP-PPP). One of the world’s largest mass housing project for unorganized workers of EWS category.

The foundation stone has been laid on 9th January 2019 by auspicious hands of Hon’ble Shri. Narendraji Modi, Prime Minister, Government of India and first lot of 15,024 houses handed over on 19th January 2024 by auspicious hand of Hon’ble Shri. Narendraji Modi, Prime Minister, Government of India.

Anukarati Homes Pvt Ltd (AHPL)

Anukarati Homes Private Ltd (AHPL) is redefining affordable housing. ”We work on an ideology of “EMI = Rent”. We aim to provide housing to the 1st time home buyers from the bottom of the pyramid. Our aim is to uplift their lifestyle. In addition, we are giving home ownership to the women of the house for making them financially secured.
